My Fresh in Fifteen Makeup Routine

Some days you need a quick and easy makeup routine to make yourself look a bit more put together quickly. Being a stay at home mom, some days I don’t always feel like getting completely made-up unless we have plans of going out. Other days, I wake up feeling like I need to do something to feel a bit more put together. I try to keep this process as simple as possible, as my toddler demands quite a bit of my time in the morning. Today, I’m sharing my quick and easy “go-to” products, and how I use them to look more freshened up quickly.

First, I start with Clinique Moisture surge, which I use to prep and moisturize my skin. I then apply both the Covergirl Clean and Lancôme Teint Idole concealers, blending with the Sonia Kashuk flat top foundation brush. Keep in mind, you may need to press down with your ring finger in areas that show creases to even the product. I like to set the concealer with a “Wet n Wild Matte About You” setting powder, to prevent creasing underneath the eyes. When applying the setting powder I prefer the Real Techniques pointed foundation brush, because it is particularly soft for use under the eye.

Next, For my eyebrows I start with the NYX Cosmetics Tinted Brow Mascara, to keep them in place and fill in any sparse areas. For my eyelashes I use
L’Oréal’s Voluminous Original Mascara, to lengthen my eyelashes.

After this, I like to bring back some color to my face with the e.l.f palette in Dark, using the shade on the top-most left hand corner of the palette. I finish off with the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar, in order to moisturize the lips.
